Long stretches of sand and shingle beaches offer a great variety of watersports, and there's also some good shops to visit in the resort centre. The hotels can provide a full evening of local Greek entertainment for you, or a walk into the town lets you sample the delights of the various bars and discos. Food A small resort, not far from the airport, with plenty of bars and restaurants offering both local and international cuisine. Traditional Greek food of Mezedes( a combination of local dishes), Stifado( local stew) and Souvlaki( kebabs) can be found here. Grilled or fried Squid, Octopus and Chicken, served with a great salad and a sprinkling of Olive oil is a firm favourite as well. In the bars, a taste of home can be provided with Pizzas, Burgers etc. all on the menu, and all served with a generous helping of chips, and the local red and white wines make a fine accompaniment with any meal.
